FEUDALISM:
You have two cows. Your lord takes some of the milk.
PURE SOCIALISM:
You have two cows. The government takes them and puts them in a barn with everyone else's cows. You have to take care of all of the cows. The government gives you as much milk as you need.
BUREAUCRATIC SOCIALISM:
You have two cows. The government takes them and put them in a barn with everyone else's cows. They are cared for by ex-chicken farmers. You have to take care of the chickens the government took from the chicken farmers. The government gives you as much milk and eggs as the regulations say you need.
FASCISM:
You have two cows. The government takes both, hires you to take care of them and sells you the milk.
PURE COMMUNISM:
You have two cows. Your neighbors help you take care of them, and you all share the milk.
RUSSIAN COMMUNISM:
You have two cows. You have to take care of them, but the government takes all the milk.
CAMBODIAN COMMUNISM:
You have two cows. The government takes both of them and shoots you.
DICTATORSHIP:
You have two cows. The government takes both and drafts you.
PURE DEMOCRACY:
You have two cows. Your neighbors decide who gets the milk.
REPRESENTATIVE DEMOCRACY:
You have two cows. Your neighbors pick someone to tell you who gets the milk.
BUREAUCRACY:
You have two cows. At first the government regulates what you can feed them and when you can milk them. Then it pays you not to milk them. Then it takes both, shoots one, milks the other and pours the milk down the drain. Then it requires you to fill out forms accounting for the missing cows.
PURE ANARCHY:
You have two cows. Either you sell the milk at a fair price or your neighbors try to take the cows and kill you.
LIBERTARIAN/ANARCHO-CAPITALISM:
You have two cows. You sell one and buy a bull.
SURREALISM:
You have two giraffes. The government requires you to take harmonica lessons.

Eddie passes away
WWE (formerly WWF) has been my favourite sport for years since sometime when I was 7 or so, even now I never fail to watch it whenever I get a chance. I've been watching it since the time of Bret Hart 'Hitman' , Shawn Michaels and others. I don't care how much of it is true, but it's entertaining me, it is serving its purpose. So I kept on watching it on TV.
Eddie Guererro, one of my favourites, reigning WWE champion had passed away in his hotel room at Minneapolis a few days ago from a heart attack. One whole episode of RAW Vs Smack Down was dedicated to him. I always liked his histronics and the way he cheats his way for the title.
I'm gonna miss the 'Latino Heat'.

Life is a series of Problems...
I really always found it difficult to justify myself bout the presence of God. Just read this article.
We all face problems in out lives but the question is how do you deal with them and what steps do you take? Are you scared of problems?
Ever wondered who creates these problems and what is the intention? You may say your boss creates problem for you at work. But does it happen that way? May be your boss is just another medium thru which the problem is put in front of you and you have to solve the damn problem.Thats it.
The problem you face will either defeat you or develop you—depending on how you respond to them. Unfortunately most people fail to see how God wants to use problems for good in their lives. They react foolishly and resent their problems rather then pausing to consider what benefit they might bring.
Lets see how God comes into picture and how he creates problems at different stages of our life.
God uses problem to DIRECT you
Sometimes God must light a fire under you to get you moving. Problems often point us in a new direction and motivate us to change. Is God trying to get your attention?
God uses problem to INSPECT you
People are like tea bags…. If you want to know what’s inside them, just drop them into hot water! Has God ever tested your faith with a problem? What do problems reveal about you?
God uses problems to CORRECT you
Some lessons we learn only through pain and failure. It’s likely that as a child your parents told you not to touch a hot stove. But you probably learned by being burned. Sometimes we only learn the value of something… health, money, love, a relationship… by losing it.
God uses problems to PROTECT you
A problem can be a blessing in diguise if it prevents you from being harmed by something more serious. Last year a friend was fired for refusing to do something unethical that his boss had asked him to do. His unemployment was a problem – but it saved him from being convicted and sent to prison a year later when management’s actions were eventually discovered.
God uses problems to PERFECT you
Problems, when responded to correctly, are character builders. God is far more interested in your character than your comfort. Your relationship to God and your character are the only two things your’re going to take with you into eternity.
Here’s the point: God is at work in your life – even when you do not recognize it or understand it. But it’s much easier and profitable when you do.

Tale of the three programmers
Got this joke in a mail
Three male programmers were in the bathroom standing at the urinals.
The first programmer finishes, walks over to the sink to wash his hands. He then proceeds to dry his hands very carefully. He uses paper towel after paper towel and ensures that every single spot of water on his hands is
dried.
Turning to the other two, he says, "At Microsoft, we are trained to be extremely thorough."
The second programmer finishes his task at the urinal and he proceeds to wash his hands. He uses a single paper towel and makes sure that he dries his hands using every available portion of the paper towel.
He turns and says, "At Intel not only are we trained to be extremely thorough but we are also trained to be extremely efficient."
The third programmer finished and walks straight for the door, shouting over his shoulder,
"At Sun, we don't piss on our hands."

24 days at home
The exams are finally over, hols here. 24 days at Rjy, its going to be the longest hol since I've joined engg. Have'nt planned what to do all these days, they'll just pass by probably as quickly as ever. I cant think of any better work than visiting all my friends, most of them will p'bly be back home by now.
One whole semester over ....so quickly, and the next ones gonna be much shorter and uncomparably difficult as well. I'm going to have some of the most important as well as d'cult subjects - Computer Organisation, DataBase Mgmt. Systems, Operating Systems, Probablity& Stats, Electrical Technology and Managerial Economics & Financial Analysis ( just can't understand why the university has included the last two subjects for students of CSE).
And I'm unable to think of any other thing to put up here for now.
So, Bye...

I've been sorted ! into my fav house as well.
Congratulations on making Gryffindor!
Basically, you're brave, daring, chivalrous, and pretty much.. an all around good person. Of course, some see you as a goodie-two-shoes. But hey, it's true! You're really good at winning, and normally always come out as the hero. Everybody likes you.. except, maybe, the Slytherins. You're too perfect. No, really.. You're too perfect. It's annoying to watch you win, repeatedly. Oh well. Be proud anyway.

Saturday evening..
Well the climate's cold outside and added to that these guys at Reliance WebWorld like to have the AC at the top mark, and I feel chilled to the bones.
Guess I shd be at home right now studying for the ensuring exams (pre-finals from Monday, lab externals the following week and Sem-Finals the week after). Strangely I feel no tensi0n welling up in my head, seems that I've got accustomed to facing exams. The project work kept me busy the whole last week and guess what,, we won the Second prize beating several teams of third and final years. And we'll be up on the stage for taking the prize on our College-day.
91 friends on my Yahoo! messenger list, 90 -offline, 1 -I'm on SMS, It's Saturday evening don't know where these people go. What better work can they have other than staying online.
Eventually I'm bored, bye.

India vs SouthAfrica
Came up for short stay of two days at Raj.
My Aunt from South Africa is here. I was watching some of her videos of Johannesburg and Cape town and couldn't help wondering why Indians actually drove out the British. About 60 years back SA was in a much more pitiable state than India. Then India got independence but the face of the country remained more or less the same and not until the mid 90s did any noticeable uplifts such as the boom of the IT sector come into the scenario. SA got independence about 40 or 45 years after us but tremendous development took place in this time gap and now the cities of SA are as modern as any American or European ones. I bet you can't argue that all that development was actually possible without the help of the English.

What goes around comes around !
His name was Fleming, and he was a poor Scottish farmer. One day, while trying to make a living for his family, he heard a cry for help coming from a nearby bog. He dropped his tools and ran to the bog.
There, mired to his waist in black muck, was a terrified boy, screaming and struggling to free himself. Farmer Fleming saved the lad from what could have been a slow and terrifying death.
The next day, a fancy carriage pulled up to the Scotsman's sparse surroundings. An elegantly dressed nobleman stepped out and introduced himself as the father of the boy Farmer Fleming had saved.
"I want to repay you," said the nobleman. "You saved my son's life."
"No, I can't accept payment for what I did," the Scottish farmer replied waving off the offer. At that moment, the farmer's own son came to the door of the family hovel.
"Is that your son?" the nobleman asked. "Yes," the farmer replied proudly. "I'll make you a deal. Let me provide him with the level of education my own son will enjoy. If the lad is anything like his father, he'll no doubt grow to be a man we both will be proud of." And that he did.
Farmer Fleming's son attended the very best schools and in time, graduated from St. Mary's Hospital Medical School in London, and went on to become known throughout the world as the noted Sir Alexander Fleming, the discoverer of Penicillin.
Years afterward, the same nobleman's son who was saved from the bog was stricken with pneumonia. What saved his life this time? Penicillin.
The name of the nobleman ? Lord Randolph Churchill.
His son's name? Sir Winston Churchill.

A son's letter..
A FATHER PASSING BY HIS SON'S BEDROOM WAS ASTONISHED TO SEE THE BED WAS NICELY MADE AND EVERYTHING WAS PICKED UP.
THEN HE SAW AN ENVELOPE PROPPED UP PROMINENTLY ON THE CENTER OF THE BED.
IT WAS ADDRESSED, "DAD".
WITH THE WORST PREMONITION, HE OPENED THE ENVELOPE AND READ
THE LETTER WITH TREMBLING HANDS:
DEAR DAD,
IT IS WITH GREAT REGRET AND SORROW THAT I'M WRITING THIS.
I HAD TO ELOPE WITH MY NEW GIRLFRIEND BECAUSE I WANTED
TO AVOID A SCENE WITH MOM AND YOU.
I'VE BEEN FINDING REAL PASSION WITH BARBARA AND SHE IS
SO NICE EVEN WITH ALL HER PIERCING, TATTOOS, AND HER
TIGHT MOTORCYCLE CLOTHES.
BUT IT'S NOT ONLY THE PASSION DAD, SHE'S PREGNANT
AND BARBARA SAID THAT WE WILL BE VERY HAPPY.
EVEN THOUGH YOU DON'T CARE FOR HER AS SHE
IS MUCH OLDER THAN I, SHE ALREADY OWNS A TRAILER
IN THE WOODS AND HAS A STACK OF FIREWOOD FOR THE
WHOLE WINTER.
SHE WANTS TO HAVE MANY MORE CHILDREN
WITH ME AND THAT'S NOW ONE OF MY DREAMS TOO.
BARBARA TAUGHT ME THAT MARIJUANA DOESN'T REALLY HURT ANYONE
AND WE'LL BE GROWING IT FOR OURSELVES AND TRADING
IT WITH HER FRIENDS FOR ALL THE COCAINE AND ECSTASY WE WANT.
IN THE MEANTIME, WE'LL PRAY THAT SCIENCE WILL FIND A CURE
FOR AIDS SO BARBARA CAN GET BETTER; SHE SURE
DESERVES IT!!
DON'T WORRY DAD, I'M 15 YEARS OLD NOW AND I KNOW HOW TO TAKE
CARE OF MYSELF.
SOMEDAY I'M SURE WE'LL BE BACK TO VISIT SO YOU CAN
GET TO KNOW YOUR GRANDCHILDREN.
YOUR SON, JOHN
P.S. DAD, NONE OF THIS IS TRUE. I'M OVER AT THE NEIGHBOR'S
HOUSE. I JUST WANTED TO REMIND YOU THAT THERE
ARE WORSE THINGS IN LIFE THAN MY REPORT CARD
THAT'S IN MY DESK CENTER DRAWER. I LOVE YOU!
CALL WHEN IT'S SAFE FOR ME TO COME HOME.

LOVE !
10th Grade
As I sat there in English class, I stared at the girl next to me. She was my so called 'best friend'. I stared at her long, silky hair, and wished she was mine. But she didn't notice me like that, and I knew it. After class, she walked up to me and asked me for the notes she had missed the day before. I handed them to her. She said 'thanks' and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.
11th grade
The phone rang. On the other end, it was her. She was in tears, mumbling on and on about how her love had broken her heart. She asked me to come over because she didn't want to be alone, which I did. As I sat next to her on the sofa, I stared at her soft eyes, wishing she was mine. After 2 hours, and one Drew Barrymore movie, and three bags of chips, she decided to go home. She looked at me, said 'thanks' and gave me a kiss on the cheek..I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.
Senior year
One fine day she walked to my locker. "My date is sick" she said, "his not gonna go", well, I too didn't have a date, and in 7th grade, we made a promise that if neither of us had dates, we would go together just as 'best friends'. So we did. That night, after everything was over, I was standing at her front door step. I stared at her as she smiled at me and stared at me with her crystal eyes. Then she said- "I had the best time, thanks!" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.
Graduation
A day passed, then a week, then a month. Before I could blink, it was graduation day. I watched as her perfect body floated like an angel up on stage to get her diploma. I wanted her to be mine-but she didn't notice me like that, and I knew it. Before everyone went home, she came to me in her smock and hat, and cried as I hugged her. Then she lifted her head from my shoulder and said- 'you're my best friend, thanks' and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.
Marriage
Now I sit in the pews of the church. That girl is getting married now. and will be driving off to her new life, married to another man. I wanted her to be mine, but she didn't see me like that, and I knew it. But before she drove away, she came to me and said 'you came ...!'. She said 'thanks' and kissed me on the cheek. I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.
Death
Years passed, I looked down at the coffin of a girl who used to be my 'best friend'. At the service, they read a diary entry she had wrote in her high school years. This is what it read: "I stare at him wishing he was mine; but he doesn't notice me like that, and I know it. I want to tell him, I want him to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love him but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why. I wish he would tell me he loved me! .........'I wish I did too...' I thought to my self, and I cried.
A Bell is not a bell until someone rings it... A Song is not a song unitl someone sings it.. Don't hide yur true feeling'......coz' Love is not Love until someone reveals it...!* Do yourself a favor; tell her/him you love them.
They won't be there...................Forever. "

Doomsday LONDON !!
First the WTC and then London. What does the stupid Al-Qaeida have in their minds? Blowing up the city's metro, killing people. My God! My aunt who lives in London says some of the bodies have been irretreivably stuck up in the debris of the train, people are coming out of the metro with either blood or soot over their faces.
Bloody buggars, do they think they can go on killing innocent people in the name of Jehad(the supposed to be 'war of religions' to declare Islamic superiority). I think this bombing attack is to renew the fear of terror among the people who are just forgetting the 9/11 tragedy. The day will come when they will even face the judgement, the wrath of the rest of the world. That is when the fate of Jehad will be closed forever.
For that Judgement day let us wait.

Into the second year
Now I'm a senior and I can get to rag a few new-comers. Sounds fun.
The first day at college wasn't as fun as I expected it to be.. neway it was good to meet my friends after the hols.
The only bad news is from the academic side, now I'll have to face TWO subjects relating to the Electronics side which I'm not to keen upon. Apart from those I'll be having a stupid IC lab.. that means more of those tense moments during Viva-voce and observations and records too. The other lab is Java one, its quite fun(computers are always fun).
Pray let this semister pass quickly.
